I recently saw an ad for auto insurance to cover storm damage from the onset of Hurricane Irma! The following is an excerpt:
Auto Insurance Basics: Damage from a storm will be covered under your comprehensive coverage; including but not limited to, wind, hail, falling objects, like a house/tree/flying cow/2x4’s! Rising water is also covered. However, no comp coverage…no claim! Check with your local agent to see if you're covered before it’s too late!
Hurricane Irma, the mega storm has been predicted. We can pretty much know without a doubt that it is really going to happen with the help of radar images and meteorological forecasts. We certainly can’t hide our heads in the sand and deny this inevitable event, so what do we do? All that is left is to prepare for the storm the best we can. Board up the windows on our house, stock up on the essentials, have plenty of water, batteries, flashlights and so on. Maybe get some additional insurance . . . and then wait for the storm to hit!
Being prepared for these predicted disasters is of the utmost importance. No one in their right mind would just casually disregard these warnings! But isn’t that exactly what we’re doing if we disregard the prophetic warnings from God? Why would we be so concerned with being ready for the effect of a hurricane, but have no concern for our eternity?
Isn’t it funny that we believe the forecasts of the weather predicting people, but completely disregard the forecasts of the prophets of God? Maybe it’s time that we realize there is an enormous storm predicted in the Bible. It is coming! Hiding your head in the sand will not prevent it, nor will denying it’s reality.
There is a firestorm coming, and it’s coming sooner than we think. It has been predicted for thousand’s of years and there is no stopping it. We had better start to prepare before it’s too late. There is an insurance policy that we all need in order to be covered for the onset of this earth melting firestorm.
Hellfire Storm Insurance Basics: Damage from a storm will be covered under your comprehensive coverage: Including and not limited to wind, hail, falling objects, and hellfire! However… no comp coverage, no claim! Check with your local agent to see if you're covered before it’s too late!
I know that it might appear that I’m making light of this inevitable catastrophic event, but I’m not. I’m simply trying to make a comparison to something we all understand. God is giving us every chance to get insured, He is patiently waiting for everyone to get ready!
That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming?’ But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. ~taken from 2 Peter 3
God doesn’t want to lose any of us to this terrible storm. He has given every single one of us an easy way to be completely covered. It’s called His free insurance coverage of eternal salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. He couldn’t have made it any easier to get this coverage, all we have to do is ask! Ask! That’s all there is to it. Everyone is qualified with no exclusions! Just open your heart and ask for Jesus to come into you and be your guiding light in these coming dark days.
“…who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus” ~1 Timothy 2:4-5
This offer is for everyone, it doesn’t matter who you are, where you are, or what you’ve done. It’s time to stop hiding your head in the sand and get insured before the storm hits . . . because then it will be too late.
