“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” ~Matthew 24:37- 39

The fires, as well as the hurricanes, are serious concerns lately. In this image we see Oregonians playing golf while the world behind them is literally burning up. Isn't this the perfect metaphor for the ungodly masses in this day and age? So many people are unaware of the fact that end times prophecies are playing out right before their eyes. They aren’t even mildly concerned about their unwillingness to acknowledge an Almighty God or the need for a Savior. They just turn their backs toward everything and play-on as if nothing is happening.
We are seeing an increase in frequency as well as the intensity of natural disasters all over the world. The recent earthquakes in Mexico and Guatemala, the hurricane devastation of the Caribbean islands, as well as the extreme flooding in Texas, raging fires in Oregon, and now one of the worst hurricanes in history hitting Florida might make us begin to ponder this question. Why does God allow these things to happen when He could very well prevent them?
And just like the people of Noah’s day, so too is it for the spiritually dead of this age. It just amazes me that the majority of the population is completely unaware of what’s really going on around them. The entire world is spinning out of control—literally falling apart, and yet the masses seem to be in a state of denial, living life as usual. They refuse to see the need for faith in a God other than themselves and are completely oblivious to the ramifications of such a self-centered existence.
Just as Noah was obligated to warn the masses of the soon coming storm, we find ourselves in the same exact situation. It’s our responsibility, as Christians, to warn everyone of this oncoming firestorm. Sadly we can’t force anyone into the boat. Our only job is to stand up and shout to the world that Jesus is coming soon! The rest is up to a very capable, and all mighty God.
All the natural disasters we’ve been experiencing are just precursors to what’s coming. However, Jesus will not return until every person on earth has made a choice, a deliberate, conscious choice. We are all endowed with the freedom of choice. Yes, we will all have to make our decision either for or against Jesus before the day of His coming.

Here’s a bit of eye-opening truth…God is not to blame for these things! Sin is what has caused all of this planetary devolution to occur. We are living in a fallen world, a corrupted, deteriorating planet, along with everything on it. God is starting to remove His restraining hand from this world. So Satan is now unleashing his fury because he’s fully aware that his time is short. In the Bible God tells us of the coming of these end times events.

God wants every one of us to turn around and come to Him—turn away from the distractions of this world, and start to share His wonderful good news. We all have an obligation to share the gospel of Jesus with as many as will listen. This was the very last mission Jesus gave to His disciples before He died . . . better known as the Great Commission.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”~Matthew 28:19-20
We need to understand that we are also His disciples! Every believer has this same responsibility to share the gospel and to spread this warning in one way or another. We all have a different way to accomplish this task—a unique talent or skill. God will lead us so we can do our part in this great mission. All we have to do is ask and then follow. Jesus is telling us the same thing He told His disciples, to go and spread the gospel.

Both my husband and I were prompted to do this blog site months before we actually took any kind of move to make it happen. Not until we finally put our plans and desires aside were we able to accept God’s plan. God will use us in any way He can. I’m a writer, my husband is a website builder and an internet expert. God knows how to put every one of us to work in order to use our talents for His great purpose.

The ultimate effect of sin is degradation. The falling apart of everything, from the breaking down of our physical bodies, (sickness, disease, pain, and suffering) to the degeneration of all existence, even the planet itself. The degeneration of everything . . . all living creatures, animals and even plants. As well as the worsening of the weather and increase of planetary devastation are all the byproduct and the effect of a broken and fallen world.
Can God stop it? Yes. Will He stop it? Yes, but not until every person has made their decision either for or against Jesus. Not until everyone has heard of the gift of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus, and have made their choice, will this mess finally come to an end.

Towill means to want, and to do means to empower. So this verse is literally telling us that God will gives us both the desire and the ability to do His good purpose. And I, of one, can certainly attest to this fact!
There are so many people out there totally ignorant to what this offer of salvation really means to their eternity. Sure they’ve heard of Jesus, and perhaps even believe in some sort of god, but have never heard the powerful truth of the gospel or made any kind of commitment to Jesus.

The Bible is very clear on the order of end times events. Jesus tells us what will happen and how to be on guard so we will recognize these things when they happen. Anyone that knows their Bible understands that these things will, and must happen before the second coming of the Lord Jesus!
Jesus compares these excessive signs of the times to that of a woman going into labor, the earth must heave to and fro and this is the beginning of birthing pangs.
The apostle, Paul writes about the how and when all this will happen when he said . . .

“But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” ~1 Thessalonians 5:1-3
The world is in great need of warning . . . Jesus is returning soon! There will be a firestorm beyond anything we could possibly imagine. We need to blow our horn and shout from the rooftops to warn others. Friends don't let friends go to hell without warning them!

Simply put . . . at the end of the age, the beginning of sorrows or birth pangs will take place. We need to know what the Bible says in order to understand that everything is happening right on time. God has predicted everything through His servants the prophets, and will see us through it to the end if we just hold tightly to Him!

“But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.”~Ezekiel 33:6

“That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming?”~2 Peter 3:2-4
“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.“ ~Luke 21:28
God gave this order to Ezekiel, but He also gives it to every one of us that has eyes to see and ears to hear this truth. We, the believers, must become prisoners of hope rather than prisoners of fear. We must all do our part. Whether through blogging, prayer, Bible study, or even just inviting someone to go with you to church, you can make a difference. After all, someone was willing to lead us to the truth, right?
It is time to shake and wake those that sleep. They are in a state of unconscious oblivion, caring only about their own selfish pleasures and desires, the lusts of the flesh, and give no mind to the God of heaven.
For all people walk each in the name of his god, but we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever. ~Micah 4:5

Are we in the last days…?
Yes, my friends, this is the eleventh hour! Jesus is returning soon to gather His people—the dominion lost by Adam will soon be restored to Jesus. God’s children are no longer prisoners of this sin filled world but have been rescued. We are now prisoners of hope and strangers to the ways of this dying world.

You tell me. The following verses paint a pretty clear picture regarding every aspect of life as far as I’m concerned.
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”~2 Timothy 3:1-5
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey. As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.” ~Zechariah 9:9-12

“… In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” ~Jude 1:18ESV
”But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”~Matthew24:37
”For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful.” ~Romans 1:26-31
”For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” ~Matthew 24:7&21

We must remain strong in the holy, living word of God. We must run to the Bible as our source hope because without God’s living word we would be lost—without the truth of salvation through Jesus we would all be lost forever.
This blog site is my horn, this is how I sound the alarm. Please join me in this mission of truth—this mission of hope to anyone who will listen, and blow your horn—climb up to the rooftop and blow your horn for all the world to hear!

Wouldn’t you say this sounds exactly how things are in this very day and age? There’s such an enormous surge in wickedness of every kind. Crime is running rampant, murder and rape are at an all time high. Sexual immorality, pornography, multiple sex partners, indulgence in unnatural lust/homosexuality/incest/ transgenderism, and abortion, as well as overindulgence in every possible thing. Pride and greed have become the all-consuming ruler of this present world.
Oh yes, I’d have to say we are most definitely heading into the last days. God tells us that once this order of event starts, it will not end until everything that God has predicted happens. And this is all the more reason to believe that soon Jesus will come again to execute judgment upon the evildoers and restore order, peace, love, and justice upon this earth.

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Clearly, the majority of the world is choosing to reject God and His grace filled offer of redemption. However, there is still time for you to choose to give your heart to Jesus. You will then receive the seal of God (Revelation 7:2-3) and be protected when the four winds are totally released and Satan has full control of this world. Oh yes, God’s people shall be delivered, that is a promise!

You might say that I was a rather late spiritual bloomer, tripping my way into the Lord's arms not all that long ago. Nevertheless, I've been on the fast track ever since through a decade of Bible study courses and daily devotion. Changing careers a few years back and becoming a published author of Christian motivational books, leading to spiritual children's books and now this blog.
