“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
The devil is on his last lap around this world; he knows his days are numbered. He is doing everything in his power to overtake the hearts and minds of as many as possible. He has already influenced many in positions of power, as well as anyone who has surrendered to spiritual wickedness.
Which power have you surrendered to? Have you succumb to the forces of evil or are you connected to the power of goodness? Are you sheltered and protected by the Holy Spirit of God? Or are you still uncertain as to what you believe? Time is running out, and sitting on the fence of faith is no longer a luxury we can afford.
The power of darkness is consuming those who don’t choose Jesus. He, Satan, is seeking as many as He can overtake to keep them from having an eternity with their loving Creator.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.”
~1 Peter 5:8-10
Bible prophecies are playing out right before our eyes! You can almost set your watch to the time of the end if you study the word of God and allow it to lead you into all truth. Everything that's happening is in God's prophetic word, from worldwide plagues to governments pushing their ungodly agendas.
People are dying and will continue to die. The Bible is clear about this. So are we going to continue on and just roll with the flow of a mindless society, or are we going to dig into God’s word and receive the peace that foreknowledge imparts?
The prophecies tell us that things are going to get worse, much worse. And there is a way for us to be protected from what’s about to come but we must heed the warnings and follow His word to the letter so our loving Creator can keep us under His protective care.
Jesus has a plan for us, a really great plan. We must simply obey His word to receive His blessed results.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
~Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
His plan isn't a secret; He wants us with Him for all eternity. All we have to do is trust and obey Him. His word is perfect, and doing what He tells us is how He keeps us not only safe but in His perfect will.
“This God—His way is perfect; the word of the Lord
proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.”
~Psalms 18:30 ESV
I'm so tired of trying to be in control of everything, tired of trying to run my life all on my own. Every time I do, all I do is mess everything up. I am finally ready to surrender my controlling will up for His perfect will. I have decided to do as He says in every aspect of my life.
However, if we don't completely surrender, He will not force His plan on us. God will never take our free will from us. He will continue to softly and tenderly beckon us back to Him. He wants all of His children to turn around and come back to Him. It's totally up to us to make a move and take that step.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
God doesn’t want anyone to perish. He loves us all so much that He sent His Son to die to pay the price for our sins. He desires that everyone would spend eternity with Him.
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” ~2 Peter 3:9
If you think you might want to get to know your Creator, all you need to do is call to Him. He wants to hear from you. He is patiently waiting for you to reach out to Him. Ask Him to come into your heart, that's all you have to do, and He will do the rest. This will be the best thing you ever decided to do. Your life will never be the same.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
