“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” ~Matthew 24:7-8
To answer this question in a word, YES! But the exact day and hour of His return are not known by anyone except God. Jesus makes it very clear regarding exactly what will be happening in the end days of this earth. It's no coincidence that these are the exact things that are happening!
What would you say if I told you that everything that is happening is spoken of in the Bible? Everything from the pandemic (pestilence), to the vaccines (sorcery), from worldwide food shortages (famines), to the push for a One World Order by the world leaders, are all in the Bible’s prophecies.
Nothing that is happening hasn’t been predicted by the prophets of God. So what is there to do? Worry?… be filled with fear every time you hear about the next deadly virus, forced vaccine, job mandate, or even threats of war?
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
The above verse is Jesus talking. He tells us in no uncertain terms not to worry, not to be troubled because all these things must happen before He comes.
So what are we supposed to do when the world seems to be falling apart? According to Jesus, this is when we should be spreading the gospel of His salvation to anyone who will listen, and only then He will return. It’s better known as The Great Commission, and this was the very last command Jesus gave to His disciples. We, the believers and true followers of Jesus Christ, are still to this day His disciples! He was talking to us just as much as to them.
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
~Matthew 28: 18-20
Jesus tells us exactly what we are to be teaching them, we are to teach them to observe ALL things that He has commanded us. All things, past, present, and future things. The entire Bible from cover to cover. It’s known as Sola Scriptura, which simply means the Bible and only the Bible…the infallible, unchangeable, eternal living word of God! I strongly recommend the King James Version, this is the purest version still available. (I will explain in a future post why this is so very important). Personally, I prefer a cross-reference version.
We are not to teach an altered version of the word of God but rather the exact, word-for-word Bible, not some new-age altered version or even someone’s paraphrased opinions. We are to share the original Bible in its entirety, from Genesis to Revelation, including all Ten Commandments without any changes, additions, or alterations whatsoever!
“For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” ~Matthew 5:18-19
This is our responsibility if we truly want to call ourselves Christians, followers of Jesus. We are to be about our heavenly Father's business. We are to do what He tells us to do, spread His pure perfect word throughout the world.
“But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” ~Matthew 24:13-14
